SEND Autumn Walk
- 📅 Date: Every Thursday, starting Thursday 15th October 2026
- 🕒 Start and finish times: 4:00pm – 6:00pm. You are free to leave whenever you need to and do not have to stay for the full session.
- 📍 Venue and location: Menses Park, Wigan, United Kingdom
- 🍂 What the event is about: A relaxed weekly autumn walk where families can enjoy nature, get some fresh air and meet other neurodiverse families. There is no pressure — just nature and good company.
- 👨👩👧👦 Who the event is suitable for: Neurodiverse families, parents, carers and siblings. All abilities are welcome.
- 💷 Ticket price: £1 + £1 booking fee per ticket. You can also pay on the day if needed.
- ☕🌟 Included with your ticket: A hot chocolate and glow sticks will be handed out for every ticket sold.
- 🌈 Sensory-friendly features: A relaxed and inclusive environment with no pressure to keep up with others. Families can walk at their own pace and leave whenever needed.

Halloween party
Get ready for a spooky and fun-filled Halloween party! Our event promises a safe and enjoyable experience for all children, with activities tailored to ensure everyone can participate comfortably.

Our smaller sessions
Our smaller SEND sessions offer a relaxed, welcoming and sensory-considerate environment where neurodivergent children and young people can enjoy activities at their own pace.
Sessions may include arts and crafts, sensory and messy play, seasonal activities and opportunities to explore and create. There is no pressure to participate in a particular way — children can join in, watch, take a break or move between activities whenever they need to.

- 🕒 Session times: Usually offered in smaller time slots, with details provided for each event
- 📍 Venue: Venue details will be provided for each session
- 🎨 What to expect: Creative, sensory and engaging activities designed with neurodivergent children in mind
- 👨👩👧👦 Who they're for: Neurodivergent children and young people, including those with diagnosed or suspected needs, and their families
- 💷 Ticket prices: £6 (£5+£1 booking fee)
- ♿ Accessibility: Accessibility information will be provided for each individual venue
- 💜 Sensory considerations: Smaller numbers, flexible participation and Quiet & Calm provision wherever possible
- 🌈 No pressure to participate: Children are welcome to take part in their own way and at their own pace
- 👨👩👧 Parent/carer support: Children remain with their parent or carer throughout

Spring Family Funday
- 📅 Date: Wednesday 7th April 2027
- 🕒 Start and finish times: 11:00am – 3:30pm
- 📍 Venue and location: Hindley Sports and Social Club, Wigan
- 🌸 What the event is about: A fun, inclusive Spring Family Fun Day created especially for neurodiverse children, young people and their families. Come along, enjoy a range of activities and entertainment, meet other families and have fun in a welcoming environment.
- 👨👩👧👦 Who the event is suitable for: Neurodiverse children, young people and their families, including parents, carers and siblings. All abilities are welcome.
- 💷 Ticket price: £5 per child + £1 booking fee and £2.50 per adult + £1 booking fee. Family of 4 ticket: £13 + £1.57 booking fee (2 adults + 2 children).
- 🎉 What to expect: A variety of family-friendly activities and entertainment, community stalls, refreshments and opportunities for families to connect. More activities and entertainment will be announced as the event gets closer.
- 🌈 Sensory-friendly features: Quiet spaces will be available for anyone who needs time away from the main event. Participation is flexible, with no pressure to take part in activities or entertainment. We aim to keep the environment welcoming, inclusive and sensory-considerate.
